“High Power Density DC/DC Converters”

Inscríbete GRATUITAMENTE a este seminario que se impartirá próximamente de manos del experto Miroslav Vasić, dirigido tanto a expertos como a ingenieros que se estén iniciando en el diseño, uso  y desarrollo de Convertidores de Potencia.

El seminario trata el diseño avanzado de Convertidores CC/CC. También se revisarán las claves de los nuevos dispositivos de banda ancha, especialmente los dispositivos de GaN, y se presentarán técnicas y topologías que permiten alcanzar alta densidad de potencia. Por último, se presentarán algunos aspectos críticos en el diseño de los transformadores de los CC/CC de alta densidad de potencia.

Miroslav Vasić

Miroslav Vasić was born in Serbia in 1981. He received the B.S. degree from the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia, in 2005. Since then he has been working at Centro de Electrónica Industrial at ETSII (UPM) where he received his M.S. in 2007 and his Ph.D. degree in 2010. He has been working as assistant professor at UPM since 2015.

His research interest includes the application of power converters and their optimization. In the recent years, a great part of his research activities has been related to the research of new semiconductor devices based on GaN and their impact on power electronics.

Miroslav Vasić holds several patents and he has published more than 60 technical papers. In 2012 he received the Semikron Innovation Award for the teamwork on “RF Power Amplifier with Increased Efficiency and Bandwidth.” In 2015 he received a medal from Spanish Royal Academy of Engineering as a recognition of his research trajectory. In 2016 UPM gave him “Research projection” award, for his research work as a young professor.

Miroslav actively serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics and as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems.
